"HHEAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!"
Kael raised his draconic claws and cheered as loudly as he could as he took down one of the strongest beasts in less than 30 seconds and he wanted every single one of his soldiers to see it.
Obviously, he wasn’t trying to show off. He was far past that level, this was more about morale.
And just as he expected—
"YYYEAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!"
The Alliance soldiers cheered back.
Their morale rose even further, their eyes shone. One of the enemy’s strongest beasts was down, they understood what that meant.
It meant that now the Thunderspine Rawk would be able to fight together with them and crush the enemies without any beast holding it back.
"Flying Man..."
Gruumak looked at the scene from afar, seeing that his friend was safe made him sigh in relief, he had been worried ever since Rawk moved to face that frenzied beast.
On the other hand, Kael, as he watched his troops cheer, stood up, drenched in blood. The beast he killed fell on the floor with a thud and he—
He jumped down.
He looked at Gruumak’s Rawk, then—
"Kill."
He commanded.
"RROOAAAAAAAAAARRRR!!"
The beast roared as it then crushed the nearby soldiers, pinning them into the ground. The warriors didn’t even die, they just fell on the ground with heavy injuries, any normal being wouldn’t even move at this point.
They did—
Even with broken limbs, they moved.
Or at least they tried to but...
The nearby enemies simply pierced through their vitals, their creepy smiles, the bodies that felt no pain, and their mindless state no longer disturbed them.
With this, it began.
Gruumak’s Rawk continued to flatten enemy warriors under its feet as it continued moving and the allied warriors around continued to kill them.
The kill count rose.
Kael watched and nodded with a satisfied look on his face, then, his eyes moved to the next target.
Another beast fighting another beast.
Yes, he was now targeting the strongest beasts on the battlefield, beasts capable of tearing the enemy apart, beasts who, once freed, would turn the battlefield around.
And with that—
He got a new goal.
The plan remained the same, only the target changed, he was going to free every one of those beasts until finally—
All of his strongest forces would be working together to reduce enemy numbers.
Just like that, Kael continued running around.
Now one thing, he didn’t move to the next beast until Draconic Strike was back. Yes, Kael was stronger now, he could probably take on these beasts even without Draconic Strike, he knew that as well.
But that would take time.
He would need to target their weaknesses, slowly pile up the damage, until finally, the beast bled to the point it could no longer move and finally fell.
Kael, however—
Did not have that time.
So for the 1 minute Kael needed to recharge Draconic Strike, he spent it on moving near his next target, killing as many warriors as he could using his other skills or his swords, until finally—
Once Draconic Strike was back, he would move to the next beast.
Just like that—
In fifteen more minutes—
Kael freed eight more beasts, beasts that now moved around the battlefield, causing carnage all over the place.
The Tribe Leaders and Elders he saved were no different, they took command over the small units of their loyal men and led them into a straight battle.
The soldiers cheered, their eyes burned with intense energy as they too, continued to take the enemy down.
The soldiers who were still outnumbered by the enemy began stalling until more troops came to aid them, those who outnumbered the enemy used tactics to quickly take them down.
The enemy was scary because they moved without fear of pain or death—
And while it made them look eerie for most of the battle, the soldiers were beginning to realise that this exact thing was not just their strength, it was also their weakness.
Their attacks were foolishly simple and if they somehow managed to outnumber them, tricking them and killing them was surprisingly easy since their instincts seemed to have stopped working at all.
They only moved with the intent to kill, completely missing what the Alliance troops were even planning.
Yes.
The battlefield was changing.
And it was changing in the Alliance’s favour.
But then—
BOOOOOOOOOOOM
Another bomb blast was heard.
Kael, who was about to move towards the rest of the less important beasts, trying to add them to the fray and take out a few more dangerous enemy beasts out of the battle—
He paused as he heard the explosion.
He looked away—
’It is okay, Vita took care of it.’
Imperia informed him, easing his worry.
When he came here, Kael sent Vitaria behind the wall, out of all his bonds, Vitaria was the one with the strongest survival skill, with her power, she could survive even the most difficult situation, so Kael sent her away for the most important thing.
To protect the people.
If somehow, any enemy, be it in the sky or the ground, managed to move past the Alliance troops, Vitaria was instructed to deal with them.
Of course, Kael wasn’t expecting Vitaria to deal with them, sure, according to her stats, she very much could, but the Fox wouldn’t.
She almost never used her physical strength for such barbaric tasks, she had her own way to deal with the situation.
Kael looked at the enemy rider who had managed to move past the Flying Unit. There was the same smile on his face like others, his eyes however, were shining much more brightly.
After all, he was getting what he wanted, he was bombing the same ground, once again, making sure no one else was alive or pretending to be dead.
BOOOOOOOOM
He wanted to kill them all.
Of course, what he was seeing was only an illusion, the ground he was actually targeting was completely empty, heck, the bombs didn’t even do property damage, let alone affect any lives.
And Vitaria, who made it all possible, watched the rider with her mischievous, glowing purple eyes—
"Hmmm.
They are easier to trick too."
She commented.
Then, she stretched her body lazily and—
"Not fun~"
The Fox pouted.
